Ingredient :
  1. 6 Tbsp unsalted butter softened to room temperature (85g)
  2. 2/3 cup canola oil or vegetable oil (160ml)
  3. 2 cup sugar (400g)
  4. 1 Tbsp vanilla extract
  5. 2 -2/3 cup + 2 Tbsp all-purpose flour (345g)
  6. 1 Tbsp baking powder
  7. 1 tsp salt
  8. 1 cup milk  (235ml)
  9. 6 egg whites 
  10. Double batch Vanilla Buttercream Frosting
How To Make :
  1. Preheat oven to 350F and prepare two 8-inch spherical cake pans via lining the bottoms with a spherical of parchment paper and generously greasing and flouring the perimeters. be sure to shake out extra flour.
  2. Beat butter on medium-low speed till creamy by using mixer.
  3. Add sugar,oil beat till properly-mixed and creamy.
  4. Scrape down the sides and backside of the bowl and then stir in vanilla extract.
  5. In separate bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt.
  6. measure out milk.
  7. With mixer on medium speed, gradually alternate between adding the flour and milk, starting and finishing with the flour mixture. Stir until each one is almost absolutely combined earlier before going to the next step.
  8. Pause occasionally to scrape down sides and backside of bowl.
  9. In separate bowl, combine your egg whites beat till stiff peaks shape by using hand mixer.
  10. using a spatula, gently fold your egg whites into your batter. Take care to scrape the sides and bottom of the bowl in order the components are well-combined, and no over-mix.
  11. Evenly divide cake batter into prepared pans.
  12. Bake on 350F for 35-40 mins, or until a toothpick inserted in the center of every cake layer comes out clean or with few crumbs (must no longer be wet). 
  13. Cakes could be a light golden brown when executed baking.
  14. Take away cakes from oven and cool it for 15 minutes. Run a knife around the inside rim of each pan and invert each onto a cooling rack.
  15. allow to chill absolutely earlier before cover with buttercream frosting.
